FBR website hacked? Here’s what the inside sources reveal

Government officials in Pakistan have dismissed allegations made by an Indian group claiming to have hacked the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) data. The group asserted online that they breached the FBR’s IRIS portal and stole over 150 GB of data. They also claimed to have accessed sensitive information, including national ID numbers (CNICs), full names, phone numbers, addresses, and tax records.
However, official sources informed Techjuice that the FBR’s website has not been compromised and that the system is functioning normally. The officials emphasised that the FBR’s digital infrastructure is secure and fully operational, labelling the hacking claim as false and part of a misinformation campaign.
